William C. Ruohonen, BBA, MA Bill Ruohonen has been a businessman in the chemical, healthcare and construction markets since 1972. He earned a bachelor’s in business administration with a marketing major from Kent State University. While employed in his first job in construction equipment sales with Dravo Corp., Ruohonen graduated with a master’s degree in management and supervision from Central Michigan University. Ruohonen had his first employment position with Career Research Systems, Inc. where he developed business in the Midwest for a career publishing firm. In 1981 Ruohonen started the first chemical division for a recruitment firm in Euclid OH, International Search Consultants, Inc. His chemical division completed executive search assignments mainly in the US for firms such as, BASF, B.F. Goodrich, Lubrizol, Huntsman and other firms mainly in plastic and oil. In 2007 Ruohonen founded Ruohonen Executive Search LLC. The firm primarily conducts chemical, healthcare and construction assignments. The firm was renamed Ruohonen & Associates LLC and added sales agent services to its offerings.
